This morning, when I woke up, Soosh mentioned we didn’t have any water. I got out of bed, opened the gate, and went to check on the connection, meter, and stuff. As those are all outside everywhere on the island, it sometimes happens some “kids” just turn off the water for fun. Though, this time, it was a bit weird: the meter itself was missing, and replaced by some piece of pipe. I turned on the water again, and called Aqualectra, asking if it was something they did. After I explained it, the guy told me they “steal” meters all the time, he wasn’t even surprised.

The second I hung up, I saw one of their cars driving around in the street. Probably someone was in need of ‘free’ water. Or something. Anyway, they’ll install a new one tomorrow, probably.. ;)
