Fireworks

Christmas is over, and everywhere you see people selling fireworks. Sometimes in stores, but mostly in a 40′ container, with some openings. And, it sells: a lot of noise during the day. And some pretty stuff too, in the evenings. Also, some companies have a yearly “event”, to give a big show. One of our neighbours suggested the one this evening, so we went to check it out.. At first, we thought it might be hard to find. But not to worry, there was an insane amount of people parked next (or on) the main road, and even more across the street. Basically, very busy.
Since I didn’t feel like being in such a crowd, we thought of plan B. My company rents a colocation facility up on a hill, overlooking the area where the event was. It’s a miracle the car actually made it there, but we had a -very- nice view of the whole thing!

A few other people had the same idea, so we ended up with around 10 people up the hill, watching the event. Or actually, waiting for it.. It was supposed to start at 8, in the end they lit the Pagara’s at 10, with the actual fireworks beginning at 22:18. Honestly, I was glad we went to check it out, it was amazing ;)
Very cool to see the amount of people there, the amount of fireworks blown into the sky, and all traffic being blocked to make this happen.
And the VIP spots helped a lot, we had fun with the people up there!
